Started photography back in 2004, when I had moved to Anchorage, Alaska. That's where I had bought my first camera. With all that endless scenery, it would have been stupid not to buy one. It was a Fujifilm FinePix S5000, just under a prosumer catagory, had a manual setting, which was great for learning about aperture and shutter speeds. Then a few years down the road I had gotten my first DSLR, a Nikon D40, and currently using today. I love taking macro shots of just about anything, Landscapes are my fav. I've started getting into shooting portraits about a month ago, which is going great. I'm all about natural lighting,I love early morning and evening light, lots of great color and shadows, with a warm feel, though I do have a couple speedlights, I don't use very often, mostly because I haven't quit learned how to use them correctly yet. I'd like to get into Architecture Photography, but living out in the country, I don't get alot of opportunities, so I see some travel in my near future.
